@@heinzandress8505 The Puma is great, just because the Bundeswehr does not have the soldiers to use it properly does not mean it's a problem. Others are buying the Lynx and Boxer platforms and are happy with it.

@@tobiwan001 I beg to differ. From the 1# to 3rd Gen. The main IT system, the devellopment laked all standarts. The mainbords overheat and an amoured carrier without reconn. capabilities is worth: 0. It is not a HR fault, as you are implying. The deliveries to other countries, meet other standarts, so it may serve as an example that all exports were upgraded to IT.Gen.4, or higher. Or have a country specific programmed CPU IT system. So the German Army has become the largest Beta-test group, to bug out the poor IT. I have some hopes for the new Panther. Maybe the 130 mm will scare them away. I mean: Javelins are one thing...the improved drones/ UAVs are an other. So survielance and hard to kill will be the key elements on a future battlefield. So an excellent IT system is needed. Direly needed. And yes, the Puma is a good base to start from, but needs several improvements and upgrades to survive on the battlefield.
